Never Assume – Ways to Contact CompuWeather for Assistance

Recently, Contact_Us_graphica client sent an order to me via email, with this note “Thank you for allowing me the convenience of emailing this order to you. You’ll be getting a lot more orders from me now”.   Her statement seemed unusual to me, so I called and asked her what she meant by it.  Turns out we had created a customized Weather Information Request Form (WIRF) for her company a long time ago that was distributed to all the claims personnel to use.  This customer found it to be inconvenient because she had to fill it out by hand, then fax or scan/email it to me.  One day, she couldn’t find the form so she called me and asked if, just this once, could she email me with the claim details, and of course the answer was “YES!”

I always “assumed” that our clients know they can use any means that they prefer to get their order to us.  I was wrong.  Let’s review the choices:
