CompuWeather Can Assist You During Hurricane Season

Contributed by Kim Cuozzo, Marketing Associate, Forensic Weather Marketing Team

hurricane_seasonThe 2014 Atlantic hurricane season began on June 1st. What will this season bring? Will it be quiet like last season, or an extremely busy one similar to 2005? Either way, CompuWeather can help you out with any issues that you encounter during the season or many years thereafter. People usually call in asking how we can help them with documenting their hurricane case or claim.  The first thing we do after a major storm is produce a set of reference maps for the affected area that cover maximum winds, rainfall, etc. We have timeline reports that cover such variables as storm tide, peak wind speeds and gusts, wind direction, rainfall, etc. over the course of the storm. These timelines are useful if you have a specific address, town or zip code area in mind. We also have expanded narrative reports that detail the storm’s formation, path, characteristics, and eventual landfall. We have a team of highly experienced hurricane experts who are available for testimony on any hurricane-related case.  How soon can we assist you after a storm hits? Usually within a couple of days, our hurricane team  has analyzed the relevant data and can provide you with the forensic weather products that are right for you. So if you have any tropical storm or hurricane related issues this season, get in touch with CompuWeather and we can assist you!
